Business Trainee

Job Description

1. Conduct daily monitoring to ensure adherence to investment restrictions and guidelines.
2. Gain expertise in rule coding and testing within an Order Management System (OMS).
3. Identify and escalate unusual transaction activities or potential breaches in accordance with established procedures.
4. Support the creation of documentation to substantiate internal reviews, ensuring processes and controls comply with SEC regulations and other regulatory requirements.
5. Collaborate with global compliance teams to assess, document, and report on various compliance activities, including ongoing testing and control implementations.
6. Provide assistance with day-to-day compliance issues related to trading strategies, including the application of relevant technology-based controls.
7. Coordinate with global legal and compliance teams as needed.
8. Proactively address and resolve compliance issues as they arise.
9. Handle queries from other teams independently, escalating issues to managers when necessary.
